The New Balance 1500 Re-Engineered Is Ready For a Night Out On The Town

In case you haven’t noticed or payed attention, the New Balance 1500 has received a face-lift this Summer. Dubbed the New Balance 1500 Re-Engineered, the traditional runner has been given more of a lifestyle look that will appeal to yet another different audience.

This new New Balance, no pun intended, features a completely new designed upper with the addition of leather, suede and a seamless construction. The REVlite performance midsole is still there so you can guarantee that these bad boys will still be as comfortable as before. All New Balance did was give this sneaker more of a premium and casual look that allows you to take these kicks out for a night on the town. Both of the colorways you see above are available now at select New Balance retailers so make sure to hunt these bad boys down and give those retros a break when you step out on a Friday night.

Author’s Take

I like what New Balance did with the 1500. They gave it a luxurious lifestyle look without changing too much of the original look.
